Working Together on Rewild.info

I considered it an honor to work with Peter and Willem on the new Rewild.info. When they first suggested narrowing the focus to organizing Rewild Camps and Rewild Havens, I reacted with skepticism. “Wouldn’t that cut out a lot of really important discussions?” After we talked about it, though, I saw their point. But apparently others have had the same reaction I had. So, I took the time to sit down and write out what the new Rewild.info sets out to achieve, why I consider it important, and what part you might play in it. The new focus doesn’t exclude any of the discussions that the old site supported—it just reframes them in a context that points back to the real world.

In other news, I don’t know if I like the foliage theme. I loved the little “Pull” string, but does anyone else find it dark and hard to read? I’ve wondered if I need to adopt the same exuberant aesthetic I put into the new Rewild.info site; really let the “Rewilding Renaissance” bleed through. What do you think?

I like the full wide screen format (now that I have such a monitor), even if I do have to shut down a few browser sidebars to view in total. Like the colors, and dig the little pull string.

I also find the foliage theme hard to read, and vote for a more exuberant aesthetic.

Yup, all Creative Commons, so post away.

    Hi Jason,

I was wondering if it would be alright to post a copy of your Thirty Theses on theanarchistlibrary.org . It looks like you had Anthropik under the Creative Commons license, but I just wanted to double check.
